3. Core Principle: Data Minimization

We built BESTAIR AI so that you can use the app fully without revealing personal data.

• No Account: You do not need to register or log in.
• No Tracking: We do not use tools like Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or Facebook Pixel.
• No Cookies: We do not use cookies to identify users.

4. What Data We Process

4.1. Server Log Files

With every access to our servers (e.g., when retrieving a weather map), technically necessary data is transmitted. This is required to ensure the security and stability of the system:

• IP address (anonymized or deleted promptly)
• Date and time of the request
• Requested file (URL)
• User Agent (Type of device/browser)

This data is not merged with other data sources.

4.2. Location Data

When you use the "Show Location" or "Weather at Current Location" feature in the app, the app accesses your device's GPS sensors. Important: This location data is processed exclusively locally on your device to center the map section. It is not transmitted to our servers or stored there.

5. Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The term "AI" in our app's name refers to the server-side processing of meteorological data.

• We use Machine Learning models to optimize weather forecasts (e.g., matching ICON models with historical flight data).
• The AI does not learn from your individual user behavior.
• Your inputs or position data are not used to train the AI.

6. Your Rights

Since we do not store any personal data about you (no account, no email), we generally cannot provide information about "your" data – because we simply do not have it. However, if you have actively contacted us via email, you naturally have the right to information, correction, or deletion of this email correspondence.

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services.
